The Miller County Sheriff’s Office participates in the D.A.R.E. Program in several county schools. The D.A.R.E. Mission is “Teaching students good decision-making skills to help them lead safe and healthy lives”. The Sheriff’s Office is dedicated to teaching our young children how to say NO to drugs and empower them to live clean healthy lives. The D.A.R.E. Vision is “A world in which students everywhere are empowered to respect others and choose to lead lives free from violence, substance abuse, and other dangerous behaviors.” If you have questions about the program, you can contact the program coordinator Detective Jason Evans at 573-369-2341 Ext. 702
